training day 2

so the reality of being Mr. Mom has set in since Mandy went back to work today. Travis and I made the most of it and hiked up Pilot Butte. round trip, it's a full 1.5 hours from the house and a decent 500 ft climb. today was in the low 40's so I kept Travis tight and warm... too warm almost, I was definitely sweating on the way up!

the other reality setting in is that sunset was at 4:55pm today! ouch! considering it only gets worse until Dec 22, I definitely have some adjusting to do. so after Travis went to bed I hopped on the rollers for an hour... just to get in the habit... I think there'll be a lot of that this winter!
